Drive to Musanze / Volcanoes NP. En route you will immediately feel that you are in the country of
1000 Hills. Along the way you will see different coffee plantations, banana plantations and busy
daily lifestyle of Rwandan local people. (2½ - 3 hour drive).
Visit the Ellen DeGeneres / Diane Fossey campus in Musanze for a tour and learn about the behaviour of gorilla’s and the work of Diane Fossey.

Hike with a local ranger to find the gorilla family. You are allowed to spend 1 hour with the gorilla family. Enjoy this memorable experience!
Included is a free porter per person who will assist you with your daypack, and give you hand when the path is slippery, steep, or irregular. The porters are from the local community and registered by the Rwanda Wildlife Authority, in this way we also support the local community.
